Gobble Gobble Gobble

"There is no sincerer love than the love of food."
- George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950), Nobel Prize Winner in Literature (1925)

This is the moment that you have all been waiting for (or at least, I have).  The OMNIEATER ULTIMATE THANKSGIVING MENU.  Today’s post (later today) will feature the bird.  The following days will list the rest of the courses.  But if you want them all, you must check in every day for the post. (Keeps y’all on your toes!)
My ideal Thanksgiving menu is heavy on Southeast Asian flavors, with a Mexican dessert twist.  If you fear spice, then this menu is not for you.  If you want traditional, this menu is also not for you. But if you want an alternative that avoids your grandmother’s cholesterol-laden casserole, this might be your lucky day.  Feel free to use some or all of the recipes.  No need to thank me - use your gratitude for what really matters on Thanksgiving.

Menu

Munchies:           Spiced Nuts
Soup Course:     Coconut-Curry Red Kuri Soup
Turkey:                Vietnamese Brined Roast Turkey
Stuffing:              Sticky Rice stuffing
Side Dishes:       Green Beans Tricolore
Roasted Cauliflower with Yogurt and Mint
Trou Normand:   Lemongrass Mint Sorbet
Dessert:              Dark Chocolate and Chipotle Mousse

Bon Appétit!
